I borrowed a Good buddy's catch dog several years ago .... First hog I caught killed her I will never borrow a dog from anyone after that I tried to pay him for her, give him pups etc .  But he was ok with it and said stuff happens but I still feel bad about it to this day... So I wouldn't recommend it jmo

Im looking for a cur stud to breed my plott gyp to ... prefer a black mouth but will look at anything just needs to be a provin producer that is long range with plenty of bottom to stay with a runner and gritty if you have a dog that you feel is the best one you have ever hunted behind thats what im looking for !!  Will travel anywhere in the lower 48 states to breed to the right dog must see it hunt and have plenty of refrences

Got a call this morning from my buddy saying he had a big hog bayed with his puppies and didn't have a bulldog I was at work so he called my girlfriend and she brought the Calvary.... The big one got away but they caught 2 pretty good Lil boars that had some decent Lil teeth

Warrent I sent you a pm were always looking for new people to work hogs with us so you need to come make a hunt with us if your close enough and i would like to check those cur dogs out so give me a call .

And Thanks J.  that red dog is actually a buckskin plott out of a whole family of brindle dogs lol he is my buddies and a lil better bear dog than hog dog but he is pretty nice

It's actually pretty rare to catch a hog with good teeth around here... we dont have that many hogs either so we have to take care of them pretty good.... we hunt mostly hounds but starting to venture into cur dogs there just not many to choose from around here

Sounds exactly like the laws in Tennessee we have to smuggle hogs like  drugs here its pitiful its so bad that in stores the have wanted posters up that say $3,500.00 reward for any information leading to the arrest of anyone buying selling or transporting or relocating wild hogs and they are only 3 countys in the whole state where you can legally hunt them with dogs and you have to have a permit to do that Luckily I live in one of those countys and we fought like hell to get it legal here

Im looking for a 10000% finished HOG DOG !  The kind that no one wants to sale and very few even have.  Need to be able to cast it and it get gone and find a hog bay it and keep it bayed  by its self.  I dont want something I have to walk hunt needs to be trash broke and 100% silent on track prefer a gyp but a good male would work. swamp dawg is all we use the old ones were much better IMO I have one that I have had for several years and the outter layer has took a beating but never had a pass thru I also have a new one that is much lighter but im not sure if the infused kevelar will be as tough as the old ones If I were going to get another I would have a extra layer added just for good measures

I had a bulldog with it... I took him to the vet and he told me to give him Ivomec every day until i started to see it clear up so I did and it took about two weeks and it healed up ... not going to say that it will help yours but its worth a try i guess
