Like mentioned, try working one dog at a time. Or perhaps one finished dog you can trust and a pup. I ran into the same problem, I had a bay buster in my group... After a good whopping by a good boar, she learned to back up and bay.. It drove me nuts for the longest time, until finally I dropped dogs one at a time.. You can check dogs off your list one at a time this way.. You can also learn how independent your dogs are... I hate dogs that depend on other dogs to get gone.. Useless in my opinion..

I've only delt with straight ear dogs. I feel an ear dog has a big advantage over a snout dog.. Leverage mostly.

Good looking pups. They should turn on soon, remember they're pups.. In my experience males usually take a little longer to figure things out.

Dogs put it on a boar hog this past weekend! They stuck with him through some nasty stuff! We couldn't get the cd's there fast enough , but let me tell you all we will have him down very soon! I had to quit hunting yesterday due to a family emergency.
