My Apbt is missing her upper right fang. Would you still hunt a bulldog with missing hardware or retire the animal?

oh yea thats the one,lol. i was just there a few minutes ago at the shoppin center and i didnt see one outlaw hog hunter there. wait a minute,,,, accordin to that game warden on that show they identify outlaw hog hunters by them havin dog boxes in their pickups so i guess it was me,lol. and yea they try to give us a hard time here, treat ya like a outlaw if you have a dog box etc. we can hunt with dogs in california and catchdogs are ok , but under sport laws we cant hunt at night, limited to 3 dogs per hunter, cant stick hogs with a knife and cant take em out alive, and garmins/gps tracking systems are illegal for us to use to hunt with. and you have to buy hog tags at over 20 dollars each along with a valid hunting liscense. they are considered big game here. you also cant own live california wild hogs and cant sell them or their meat. under the depredation laws we can hunt basically how fish and game say is ok on the permit and now some wardens wont allow dogs and none will allow knoifes anymore but typically allow us to hunt em at night. its just boggles the mind how fish and game restrict hog hunting while our hog pop is huge in this state and they hire alot of paid hunters and trappers to control the hogs.
If you can't stick hogs with a knife and can't take em out alive do you have to shoot them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This time of year hunting is slow with us. Been taking the dogs out only a few times every 3 weeks.
What do you guys do to keep your bulldogs in shape this time of year? We try torun them every other day about 5-6 miles, but seems they keep putting on the fat. We've cut their feed down to about a 1/3 of what they get when we hunt them everyday, the hounds are staying I good shape, but the dang bulldogs are gettin pudgy.
Throw in some flirt pole exercise. I use an 8 foot long 1/2 inch thick pcv pipe with another 1/2 thick 8 foot long rope. Gives plenty of room for some chase in there. |

Love it when you get a darn near carbon copy of a dog's grandparent. This here below is Wildside/Rollbar's Rapid Roy, and next to him, is a grandson of his that we kept off his dam that we own that is off of Roy. Striking resemblance. Any of y'all have this happen often? If so, throw up some pics! This could make for as fun thread. Was kinda bored sitting here and was thinking of creative topics, lol.  Rapid Roy is one of my favorites from the past. |

I used to have a 2005 4x4 6 speed. It used to get about 15 mpg average. I ended up trading her in. I beleive the 2003's and prior got the best mileage. Just had to get the right tranny. I wish I researched and bought an 03 or older at the time. 2005 and after they had all this egr stuff to get cleaner exhause but the mileage suffered.

Will it kill her? I just got her and wanna treat for heart worms!!
Can I do it or will it kill her if she is heart worm positive ?

If she already has heart worms it'll kill her. You have to get tested. If she doesn't you could use it for a preventative once a month. |

Why cross the two? They are both cur dogs that do a great job at baying. But what will one add to the other or vice versa?
