 I just did watch the Shorty show this morning, as soon as I saw his dogs I felt like a dummy for asking. I didn't know Shorty was originally from California, (not everyone from out here is a fruit cake), and I had no idea he is a houndsman, his stock keeps rising. Love the show, I'll be out in Texas beginning on October with my dogs.

I like them a lot, they get after anything that they can. They're young now, and I'm not in a target rich environment, last time I was there I saw coon tracks everywhere. I figure maybe we can cross paths with a couple.

Judge:
We were driving towards Grenville last trip out, I saw a big black boar killed on the side of the 380. So I know they're there, if someone doesn't mind a tag along shoot me a pm or just reply here.

It's a Variax II 3x9x40.

It seems I can't leave anything alone, I got a bell & Carlson stock and a leupold scope for my old remington 700. Put it all together and I decided to add some color to it, so I disassembled the entire thing and sent the action and scope out for cerakote, got the stock glass bedded added a jard 3lb trigger.
Finally got it all back together and took it out yesterday. using some ammo I had laying around here. I'm pretty happy with it so far, I'll get some more ammo and get it dialed in so I can turn some coyotes inside out. Not sure why the last two pics rotatated
