I mailed my Trump vote in already, not that it'll count for anything out here in California but I can try.

Brandi Stacy is smoking hot! Ok, now that I got that out of the way, it sounds like Oklahoma state wildlife officials have been talking to the guys in California. I fear for you
224  HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Re: First hog of the season on: October 22, 2016, 12:00:26 am
lost a couple big boars last year cuz they bailed off the top and went straight down the mountain, one ran past me like a deer, looked like it was bounding over 15' at a time

I know exactly what you're talking about, good job getting it done.

Liefal, are you way up near Yreka? Definitely steep country, it'll get you conditioned and in shape.

229  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Re: Water Trainning Jagdterrier pup on: October 12, 2016, 09:53:42 pm
Where did you get those pups i sold some a few weeks ago they loved the water and the mommy of the pups will retrieve but she's nuts so i wont let her out of the yard anymore. Very typical of a jagd. Anyhow i wasn't sure if those pups came from me cause i didn't get the tails docked

Got them up near the Dallas area, I've seen pics of them retrieving before. It was pretty cool
to actually get such a young pup to do it for about 20 minutes.

Was messing around the other day, it turns out my 3 month old male seems to like retrieving a bit. Mind you, I've never trained a bird dog of any sort before, I just try to expose these dogs to situations and game to get them started. My female is like every other woman in my life, neurotic, time will tell if she shares his desire to swim.

To me cd is just that a dog that catches the distance has no bearing on what the dog will do when faced its foe. I have no problem sending a cd from 500 or beyond. The terrain is the biggest factor on the distance the dog is sent from and what dogs are on the hog. Knowing your dog will dictate what you and how you do it

I spend more time looking for stuff I know I have but can't find. End up going out and buying another of what I'm looking for. One day I'm gonna grow up and get organized, eh who am I kidding, that's a lie.

Thanks y'all !

Looks like you found a nice shed antler for a bonus.

I left it at the bottom of that creek as we gathered dogs  before a storm rolled in ..

Lost knives, leaving sheds behind, you're definitely paying it forward to your karma account. You earned everything you got on that hunt.

Hollow point, what area of cali do you live? We have now moved to the Lancaster area.

After seeing yreaka recently mr. gary, i hope it wasnt like that when you were there. It looks more like a tweeker town, where it isnt safe to go out after the sun went down.

What a coincidence, I've lived in Lancaster for the last 15 years now

Nice fish... do you eat them raw or grill them? I like them both ways!

Both, I also have one being made into jerky at the processor.

Hollowpoint,
We are heading to cali now. We will be in the scott valley area, at the scott valley airport. We are staying in yreka or something like that tomorrow night. We are overnighting in k falls oregon. If you can swing up to the scott valley airport tomorrow or mon, ill show you around the a/cand how our operations go.

Charles,
I was at the opposite end of the state, we just got back in. I drive thru the burn area at the Cajon Pass and I-15, fire burned that place up. Ridge lines were painted in foscheck, most building we saw were saved, but not all.
