Anyone on here that read and is smart enough to understand uglydogs great post on line breeding and want to get some solid weatherford ben curs that produce consistant 800yd dogs with good gritt and bottom end email curdogcox@yahoo.com I have no benefit from telling yall this, John Wayne Ross himself is on Bobs waiting list! (thats who registers curs here in Texas) And I can guarantee if you get one of the rare pups that dont turn out you can breed it and his or her pups will throw better dogs than the top dog on your yard used for scatter breeding.

FACT # 1: some pund dogs make great hunting dogs, thats probably why they are in the pound in the first place due to them driving their owners crazy, just like certain german shepards are pain in the butt pets but make great cop dogs
Fact # 2: a real line breeding program will increse your percentage of produceing certain desireable traits (more so than throwing good dog to good dog) This is true and has been done for years with mostly cows, but horses, etc. dogs are no different
This seems to be particularly true and more important with hunting/strike dogs vs catch dogs
I dont doubt that my pit from the pund or american bulldog from de and joe will catch every bit as good as my thousand dollar dogo, but the fact is that my dogo from 5 generations of dogo's on both sides having high prey drive, solid catch dogs, smart easy to handle and good with children, no hip or hearing problems, scissor bite , etc. etc. can hurt my odds of getting more of the same and being able to reproduce that! She is only 4 mo. old and attacking hogs through the fence.

Well said, he will still catch, mulemans A. bulldog has been ranker and harder to get off since we had to cut his top k9 out with a pocket knife after he caught and we couldnt get to him for over an hour. .02

She is 2 yoa, good looking blue female 50lbs, catches great been on 50 hogs or more. This dog is a pleasure to own, she doesnt bark, dig, chew, or cause any trouble around my yard and she only eats a little bit, she is a very easy keeper. She leads like a show dog on heel, you can wrap the lead around your waiste and have no problem with her, and she rides the wheeler real good. She is a fast sprinter and wont bust a bay. No dog or any agression of any kind - even if another dog jumps on her or there is a fight right in front of her she will not join in. pm me your number and i will send you a pic to your phone or will try to post some before the wkend if she is still available. $200 ONLY reason for selling her is because of the ppc dogo I just bought and my limited kennel space in town.

After watching this dog handle up(straight catch) a near 200lb boar on his first or second time in the woods, in honor of my late white and red catahoula/ hound mix that was an a1 gritty help dog, and my favorite chewing tobacco--I am in favor of REDMAN!

raider54 I should have some fun with this and get mason and you in a wrestleing match...but this is Grant! Mason is digemdown. FYI that red leopard catahoula De gave mason is going to be bad to the bone living hell in a baypen and hunts good to for a young dog, but if it works out and mason retires the doberman i may never see a dobie in the woods ever again
