There are 3 types of muscle fibers. 1 fast glycolytic as seen in sprinters and quater horses, 2 slow oxidative as seen in marathon runners and thorough bred horses. (pardon the spelling) 3. oxidative a combo you can breed for this. In the 60's the russians would test their olympic athletes for there muscle type and if they weren't ideal for their particular event would not allow them to train anymore. You can train to maximize the type of muscle fiber or to work towards the other way but your type of fiber will allow you to go farther with equall conditioning.

Dog whisperer on national geographic channell really works period, I have had the most extremely agressive red zone dogs playing with other dogs like puppies following his advice, you need to correct the action just before it happens. Getting him neutered will most likely do you no good, it only works if you do it before all ther hormones have developed, after hormones are developed (which is typically 9-18. or so) as soon as the dog recovers from surgery he,she will be the exact same way they were before. You have more patiance than I do - a rcd is not hard to replace.

If all is clear from the vet and there is no intestinal problems etc. go back to the basics. Nutrition is normally the answer to symptoms like that in all my patiants so I don't see why it wouldn't be the same for dogs, especially with summer hear they get mineral defeciant quickly, that stops b vitamin absorption and that leads to lethargy and depression basically. Problem is vitamins are synthetic and dont work- get on amazon.com or drop me a pm and order some standard process whole food nutrition, I recommend cyrofood, min-tran, and cataplex F. should cost about 50$ and last 4-6 mo. for one dog. They have nutrition specifically for dogs through vets but it will cost you twice as much as the human kind, just put the pills in there food and they eat them cause theyre made from liver etc. just my .02 good luck

I have a diplomait in nutrition and can give you several options in great detail if you want some really good cost effective cures send me a pm with your # and I will help all I can. For basic advise you are better off getting your dog loaded up on minerals previous to hunting him,(2-3 days and the day of your hunt minimum) I like horse dex salt (gatorade for horses)-makes em drink more h2o, and apple cider vinegar, and banannas, or raw eggs and there shell, more than pedialite, but they all are decent, and a combo wouldnt be a bad idea.
The main problem with heat stroke is a most commonly a mineral defeciancy. The the second is a vit F. defeciancy, When you get sun light it causes/activates vitamin d to move the minerals in your gut to your blood stream for muscle use, then vitamin F then takes it from your blood stream and puts them into your soft tissue and muscles. A break down at any part of this causes heat stroke, not enough water causes the the blood to get thick and coagulated making this process harder on the body. don't give your dogs or yourselves synthetic store bought vitamins they make this worse whole food nutrition or whole food pills are the only answer.

FYI bob cox goes by yellowdog on this forum has and currently breeds the tightest weatherford ben bmc's money can buy. He has the papers on all the dogs, can tell you all the history, the regeions they come from to tell if the papers are false or someone is b.s. ing you etc. John Wayne Ross the man who you send your papers into to register curs with is currently on yellowdogs waiting list for his next litter b/c when he Mr Ross registered yellowdogs last litter he said it was the tightest, best, line breeding he has seen in quite some time, and insisted on getting a pup from him. He doesn't advertize on this board to sell his pups simply b/c he doesnt have to, they go pretty quick at $500 a peice, but he will go out of his way to help anyone and his dogs have insane work ethic, even when they don't know what there hunting for as young 8-9 mo old dogs (bob starts em late) they are out 800 yards, i have personally witnessed this with severel of his pups, typically a good bit of grit as well on hogs or rank cattle. Not trying to kiss his butt however if any of yall are interested they are the real deal-get in line for one cause theres a wait.

I have been using the branco, it helps but i wish there was something better, it also takes alot of consistancy Try ordering those bugs that stop the breeding cycle of flys and don't effect anything else, gundogsupply.com is where i got mine last year(i think) it worked great i need to order again.

My freind says he has one because it has a longer snout like a aligator and it and its puppies do have a different look than a regular pit. kind of like the difference b/w a bully breed vs the american vs the real small game bred ones, they are more popular around lousiana i have noticed but never heard of a man charging more for one, its prob just due to whatever long snouted spud mckenzie dog they crossed in its blood lines a while back I would never pay more for one, these back yard breeders need to cull

It is cocsiddia or however you spell it guaranteed, I have had it in two pups and heard of the same thin with severel freinds. Its from them eating their own number 2, or more commonly bird crap from them eating there food. You can get ALBON at the feed store and fixes it right up, the easiest kind is the kind you get for chickens to mix in the water. Its bad stuff get on it asap!

Try giving her cod liver oil and possibly magnesium- helps with allergies and skin. defiantly add in the magnesium if she acts like she is frequently pooping but nothin comes. It doesn't sound like poor nutrition b/c it is generally bigger areas than what you said and they scratch it a modest amount but if so you would want to get em on some cheap minerals or buy expensive dog food, even if none of your other dogs eating the same food are not having the problem.
