Two male Plott pups left. AKC/UKC.  6 months old. Both same size, weight (47 lbs) and build. UTD on all vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Shiny coats, bright and healthy. Black brindle and black with brindle trim.  Well bred and out of talented parents.  Dad ( Dollins, Hicks, Pocahontas) used for hogs and bear. 55 lbs. streamlined and muscular. Fast, tough, and gritty. Can run for miles. No quit in him.  Mom ( Whalens, Ramseys, Allens, Trumbos Sandy Hook)  originally started on hogs. She was good at it, fast, agile, smart.. stayed out of trouble, but gritty.  Not scared.  Also is a flat out talented tree dog. Won plaques and/or prize money in every treeing event entered except one... with NO training.... she is just a natural.  These pups should be a good representation of their parents. Both are pretty enough to bench show if one wanted, boxy feet, good heads, but are bred to hunt. Selling them because we need them off the food bill and need the space. These pups need to be started. These pups are right at 6 months old and UTD on distemper vacc and worming. June dose of heartworm medication given. Only need rabies. Pups are big, active and with a shiny healthy coats. New picture taken today..

3 left. 2 males and i have decided to let the female go. All black with red brindle stripes or brindle trim.  Nearly 4 months old. All three puppy shots given and wormed twice. Come from good hunting dogs. Dad is Dollins Hicks and Pocahontas bred. @ 55 lbs.  Used for hogs and bear. Gritty, fast, and athletic with great drive. Mom is Trumbo's Sandy Hook, Whalens, Allen, Ramsey and others. @ 50 lbs. Smart, cagey and athletic. Started on hogs and did well, but likes to tree. We're pointing her in that direction. 2 males left. We've decided to retain the female for now. 12weeks old. Fat, healthy and scrappy. Green collar male black base with red gold brindle stripes popping out  on legs, chest, head, and flanks.  Black collar male a chocolate base with brindling popping out of his face and legs.  UTD on shots and worming.  l. Parents both have been used on hogs, in the field and in competition. Dad is 55 lbs, super athletic, and gritty as they come. Has been run on bear a couple seasons in the UP of MI.. great feet, great stamina.  Mom is smart and careful on hogs, stays out of tight spots.  Likes to tree.. stands up pretty and chops. Won the money a few weeks ago at a UKC event coon dog event, just after having weaned pups.. She hadn't seen a coon since last year, and went in there and beat out 15-20 dogs who are competed regularly.

Brindle male is sold.  Blue collared "Little Jim" is sold. We have decided to keep the female for future breeding.  We have three black brindle males left; Green collar, red collar and black collar.

Pups are almost 9 weeks old now. Solid and healthy pups... They should do good with whatever you point them at.

6 males, 3 females. AKC/UKC registrable. Litter papers on their way. Both mom and Dad are 50-55 lbs and very athletic. Mom does coon and hogs and Dad does hogs and bear.. Both would probably do well on cats.... Dad is Dollins, Hicks and Pocahontas bred. Mon has Whalens, Trumbo's Sandy Hook, Ramsey, and Allen in her.  Pups whelped Jan 10th. Coming up on 4 weeks.  Eating soft food well.  Should make some good dogs.

We had ours done at a Plott Days event in Tennessee. That was the first time we'd branded any dogs.. They turned out Ok, not as nice as yours, though. Some bare skin spots on one or two and a place where it didnt get quite enough; the hair grew back normally..  it can still be read, though..  i think we will probably invest in our own iron, next time.

It probably should have stitches.  You may need to " rough the edges" up a bit if it has been over 24 hours.. a cone will prevent him messing with it.  I keep our dog's cuts clean with vetericyn.. it isn't much but bleach, salt and distilled water.. i'd give him a shot of antibiotics.... as to what to knock him out with, i have no idea, never have done it or needed to at home

Pups due Sept 17, but I don't think she will go that long.. Our Coco is a big chocolate brindle bred to our Hammer, a red brindle male.  Coco is a tough, no-nonsense dog who will go beast-mode on a hog and wouldn't mind being turned loose on a bear, either.  Hammer is Dollins Hicks / Pocahontas bred and is currently up in Michigan hunting bear.  These pups should be big with a lot of color.  Based on their parent's performance, they should be some good working dogs.. Coco had her pups today, 09-17.  10 so far.  Not sure if she is done. Havent yet checked  the sex ratio.. 3 buckskins in the litter, ranging from blonde to sooty.  One known male, one known female.   Some of the dark ones have a golden sheen and lighter markings on the legs.. Text for pics. I cannot upload photos to this site.  No holds without a deposit. We may keep a buckskin.

Thanks for the replies.  I DID post an e-mail address and I think I followed rules.. Didn't even post pics I dont think because 3 earlier attempts resulted in it giving me an error message that my file was too big.  All in all, I've tried 6 times to put an ad up.. I need to sell these puppies!  I will try again, I guess.

I have a litter of Plott pups that i am trying to sell.. I have placed three separate sale ads today and have seen them show up on the website, only to have them gone later when rechecking for activity... Does anyone know what is going on with that?  I have not been able to find a way contact anyone for technical support.. Anyone able to help me?
