Cross posted this into the dog trade as well since not everybody reads the forums.
My good buddy is missing three black plott dogs. 2 males 1 female. He had loaned them out to a guy that he’s friends with around February. Called him a few weeks ago to get them back from him well they didn’t get to meet up that week. A week later he said the dogs was gone and that they had gotten one of his yellow gyps along with the 3 plotts. Not sure who’s in the wrong wether they was really stolen or if they was sold but just trying to get info or location of the dogs.
Missing out of east Texas. If you or know anyone that has bought or came up with some dogs matching their description let me know! Thank you.

Finding someone that’s willing to raise one the right way and not be trying to get rid of the pup already at 8-10 weeks because it don’t catch is the hard part… I posted a litter a few weeks ago out of proven dogs. Which imo proven or not is a gamble. But didn’t get but a few people Interested. Several off here saying oh I want these hold them only to never show. Ended up with 5 left and pretty much giving them away.

Went from feeding blue bag of retriever to extreme dog fuel 24/20. It was $28 a bag flat. Absolutely loved it. Was having to drive an hour to get it and was buying 10 bags at a time. It’s now went up to $30 a bag. So I switched to black gold 26/18 and it is $30 a bag as of right now. Only have fed the black gold around a week but sure am liking it.

From my experience every one that I have raised or seen that just couldn’t keep still in the pen or on the ground have been sorry.
I’ve had several that just couldn’t for the life of them relax.
Had one in particular that was in a large open pen around 40x40. He had a track all the way around it. Would do figure 8’s exc.
He was soooo active in the pen but every time you took him out of it he would sit at your feet. Wouldn’t cast wouldn’t hunt. Had no means to do it.
I’ve got one now that does terrible in a kennel. He’s on his chain & any given time you go to him he will run either a circle or a big half moon. He won’t hunt over 125 yards at max. Seems to me they have no drive to go once given the chance to use the energy they have.

I’m not sure. My dad got him out of Oklahoma from a friend. He asked him the other day but hasn’t heard back! Sucker will run a rabbit all day but doesn’t care nothing about baying a hog. He will be caught if you don’t want him tho lol

Sure got high hopes for these two. They are belly mates. It’s almost scary how good they work together they are now 3 months and some change. They bay everything that moves and is ranging out more and more each time I turn them out.
Brutus(sire) out of our dogs that we have bred for years on years.
Laurie(dam) is out of a family friends female out of some old local blood.
