never heard of it but should be interesting to see what happens

that has happened to my old gyp when she was younger . i wash and wash it out never got any better took her to the vet and she had a sticker stuck in her eye

yeah mike he says bo is his dog and that i can use him when i need to 

catch and release always haha

well my son has been bugging the heck out of me to take him hunting so i pick him up from school and loaded up the dogs. i called a buddy of mine to see if he wanted to go and bring his son.then my newphew called who's 11 and he has never been so i said why the heck not. finally got to the woods it was about 20 minutes and we heard the dogs baying. caught about a 70 pounds sow and a 20pounds sow but the kids had a blast.

im gonna guess 260-270 nice sow

yeah clay it has been awhile since i have caught a good hog i was way over due.mike i went back to the house to get the old man to run the 4 wheeler for me. he should be a good one to eat in a couple of months

Finally got a chance to hunt my old spot. Turned the dogs loose and bayed a 100lb boar right off the bat. Cut and turned him loose the other dogs already had another one bayed .got to the hog  and cut  the catch dog loose. Got the hog caught and tied, went back to the house to get the scale wanted to see how much he weighed. put him  on the scales as best as I could weighed 300 but never could get his head off the ground so not real sure on the excat weight. Cut him and turned him back loose.








This is the 4-wheeler trying to pick the hog up off the ground but the 4-wheeler kept rising up in the front.

always carry a piece of rope in your back pocket you never know what might happen. good looking hogs

hey mike thanks for coming today  i need to get all the hunting in i can before i have to go back to 7 days a week. sure wish we would have gotting on the hogs the first go around

yeah mike they needed it pretty bad, bring old big red over and let him have alittle fun .yeah chris im glad he decided to come along he was the one that finally caught one for me he is one heck of a yard dog

well let out this morning around 6:45 within about 15 minutes my old gyp jumped up a sow about 150pds my other male dog bo fell right in. Usually after a little bit he will start trying to catch if its not to big or aggressive but that was not happing today they bayed the sow for about 2 hrs stopping and going.Finally it hit a thicket and hog started going everywhere. Bo went for one and my old gyp went for another so i went toward my old gyp started hearing sqealing i got in there and my old yard dog decided to join in for the hunt and caught the hog it was abut 80 to 90 pds boar sure am glad the yard dog showed up to help out. So i dont belive ill be going again without a catch dog that was not smart on my part.

yeah these dogs dont drink much and i have never seen them overheat even during the hottest days of summer. I have hunted these dogs during the summer as much as i do the winter. Plus the feed bill is pretty great
