Looking for a Dogo pup or young dog at a reasonable price. Prefer a dog from large parents that are hunted or used to catch. Would like some sort of reference. Not able to spend a fortune as I have to have it shipped. Hope I'm not asking too much ? Anyone know of something. Thanks

I have a question for ya'll. The silver looking pig in the picture... I have recently seen a couple of sows like that on my club and noticed alot of other hogs or pigs with a more "european" look appearing as apposed to just looking feral as they have for years.. Am I assuming correctly that is a European blooded hog in the picture ?

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Re: 100% deer meat........

I recently started feeding deer meat myself but wasn't sure about the vitamins and minerals part. Been feeding them half their normal dry dog food and half deer meat scraps, the scraps being what the butcher cuts off the good meat for people. Can anyone tell me if this is good or bad ? Thanks.

HOG & DOGS / DOGS ON HOGS / Re: Ticked off...

My buddy caught a very large hog that ran off with my catch dog attached to an ear. I will admit the dummy didn't take another catch dog but point being the hog ran about 100 yards through 2 fences and he never let go. The dog weighs around 45 lbs. His mother was full blooded cold pit and his dad is a well bred pit. Have had pits that re-grip, they leave faster than they get here. Keep looking, some dogs need time to learn where to grab and some are wired up too much.

Acouple of questions for you... If I missed something in your post I apologize. Where does your dog catch, the ear being the best, snout being second. Does your pit have a good strong bite. I have seen fighting pit bulls without a heavy bite. Not all pits have a great bite. Does The pit try to lock down or does it try to re-grip. And last, does it have all its teeth, are any of the canines broken ?

THE CLASSIFIEDS / THE DOG TRADE / RUNNING CATCH DOG WANTED

Looking for a young or grown running catch dog. Prefer something over 70 lbs. hunting weight. Prefer a dogo or half dogo. No pure American Bulldogs or pure pits but crosses with them are fine. Need a dog that will catch any size hog and not let go. If you got one or any leads please leave me some way to get ahold of you. Thanks Lee
