5 year old hog dog.
From Douglas Mason's dogs.
She is my best dog but she killed my puppy. She was the dog that ran free and wouldn't leave the yard but she started eating the other dogs food so I chained her up. After that she became territorial about her chain space.

Silent on track.

95% trash broke. She sometimes trashes when she knows you're heading back to the truck after a dry hunt. Never messes with cattle horses or deer.

Gets along in the dog box with everything.

 Gun shy.

Short medium range. Sometimes walks right behind you if there's no scent. If it's hoggy she's  busy hunting. If there's a hog to be found she is ALWAYS the lead dog on it or right behind. She's never nearby when a track is found. I'd say I catch 80% of the hogs she starts to track. She has runs hogs several miles and hours before. She doesn't give up easily but isnt a hound either. She bays loose and rarely gets cut but is rough on the rear of a running hog.

She is scared of strangers, traveled roads, unfamiliar vehicles and gun shots.

She is weird but a good dog.

Parker cur male 4 years old. I never hunted him steady like I should have because he acted like a pup.  He accidentally bred one of my dogs and his pups are awesome. He still hasn't found his own hog. He's really friendly and playful and gets along with all dogs except he recently developed a problem with one of my dogs. He'd be a good pet or make good pups. He's over 60 lbs and strong. Doesn't jump on anyone. Looks very intimidating but is really a big puppy.

Yep.

Grab the dog by the collar and start toward the tail gate, say "load up" as you lift the dog by the collar enough to clear his head and neck, dragging the rest of him over the tail gate. Be consistent with it and before long you will only have to touch his collar and say load up, later you will only have to say load up, later he will be reading your mind.

does anyone have the type of pits im looking for?

im lookin for a game bred pup. nothing too hot but needs to be very gamey towards animals. i can train the dog aggression out most of the time. im looking for a line of dogs that are more of the long and lean type. long legs, good stamina, fast, good body conformation(feet pointed straight ahead. not bow legged). my plan is to use this dog as a cd/rcd then later on cross with a cur or hound and go from there. also breed to my current pit/cur cd hopefully getting his handle and other traits,

all comments, ideas and opinions welcome....... just dont mention dogo....

my catch dog can wear his all day no problem.

she catches. I got her from a woman that got her in a divorce. she had a picture of the dog, her ex and a hog. i've put her on a no eared hog and she caught jaw first time, second time the hog jumped and she caught leg. both times she caught hard and didnt lose her grip. she gets along with my dogs and my friends dogs great. she also gets along with everyone she has met since ive had her. $150
