Got a really nice pup from Allen(BoarNinJa) that is really going to make a nice dog.First trip out he ran one on his own,but had a little trouble in these pallmedows.But he will get it lined out with a couple of more tips.Thank yall for the replies

Just a line to let some of yall know that I'm still kicking.Have not had the dogs out too much this summer but going to get after it it again after deer season.Got a band new bay boat and  have been giving the red fish and trout the devil.Got some night vision and have been taking people out of Houston on night hunts.They are not too fireed up about sticking hogs. Matt Im like Cutter saw one when I was in Utha. They nomaly back up to a hill to load and unload there horses. They are a little top heavy,but the fuel milege is better than pulling a goose neck or bumper pull in the moutains that they have.Also easyer to turn around onsome of the goat trails that I saw where up there.

Chance if you want to rope a bear Im sure JP is in and I know Iam.Could use a good dose of excitement right about now.

If you where just running a semi open dog with just pups that may work, But with that said if there where other dogs in the pack may pull them off of what they where on. JMO most open or semi open dogs are of the the hound class and move a track some what slower than just a plain cur. Exept for the running type hounds that yote and cat people use.As far as sneaking up on hogs I have jump beded hogs and feeding hogs if they are going to run that is just what they are going to do if they are going to stay put that is what they are going to do.

Good hog Mike. Good to see dogs stay with one till the end.Thoughs cut overs can get pretty rough to get in and out of. Hope to get to run with ouy one of these days.
