I've just recently started tagging them, so none yet, but I've caught some I've marked in the past. They seem to put a ton of weight on after the first year, and depending on how good of an acorn crop we have in the fall

Thank y'all. These dogs are sure some tuff dogs and will heal up good. Bolo- when I Barr a hog I put a tag in their ear, guess their weight and write the date down and when/if I catch them again I'll see how much they gained and whatnot

Those are some fine looking hogs. I remember when I was a boy, my dad and uncle and cousins doing this... Miss those days

Well decided to load up the dogs Wednesday evening after the rain let up, so me and the brother and buddy went to a ranch down the road and cast Sammy, Lucky, Brindle, and Sweety out at a duck slew. They hunted out about 600 yards and circled behind us so we drove up to the camp to check around, maybe find some old sign. Well directly after killing the ranger, a hog let out a squeal and brindle and Sweety hit the woods. About a minute later they both start chopping. Sammy makes her way to the 2 pups and starts hammering, by this time we figure it's a good hog since everything I have is rough. Walk in to the bay and send Pearl and she sticks ear. The hog is facing us so as we're trying to work around him he knocks pearl off on a youpon and takes off. They number 2 him down about 80 yards in an opening and little brother legs him. He was pretty salty, ended up cutting 3 out of 5. They'll be out of work for about another month but at least nothing life threatening. Felt good to finally tie one after nearly 4 months of no hunting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / Looking for a man from Greenville

I acquired a dog from this man about a year or so ago and was just wanting to get in touch with him. The dogs name is lucky. She's about 3 y.o brindle saddle back gyp. I met the man in buffalo, tx. I've lost the contact and don't remember his name, anyway any help would be appreciated. That's the only pic I have of her. Not very good one. She's the one at upper left hand corner of pic. Took an artillery shell to the leg Monday night, luckily it exploded about 20 feet in front of me and just shrapnel hit me! Burnt a hole through my new shorts and left gun powder stain on my leg. Hell I think I was more pissed that my shorts were ruined as opposed to the dumbass that set the firework off on uneven ground lol But I drank a few millers and forgot all about it

Man I'm not close to shulenburg by no means, but I do have a few dogs that aren't getting the attention they need. If you were up to making I drive I have a few I'd part with- no charge, just to help you out, bcuz I feel like you're the type of person that would do the same.
