Yes I agree that both parties are extremely frustrating. I firmly believe that career politicians with no or not enough real world experience is the problem. Education is great it's helped me greatly, but real world experience is the other half of wisdom. Our society as a whole I believe is in disrepair. Too much entitlement not enough work ethic. I felt compelled to vote for Romney based on the fact that My career is in the oil and gas field and I believe Obamas energy initiatives are not viable in the present.

RL while I agree with some of your liberal views on social issues and I guess by extension other social liberals. I also don't for a second believe that any democrat has a viable economic plan for the country. There has for years been an unspoken don't ask don't tell agreement that yes gay unions do happen we ignore it and they go about there business. So I don't understand voting with liberals for there need to legalize certain activities that are largely overlooked when the most pertinent crisis in America is the economic one. Now I'm not sure there's a politician alive who can repair our economy, but do you honestly believe Obama can repair our economy? If so, why?

Safety net is how I see the college degree as well. Entrepreneurs are the ones who get rich but if u go out on a limb and fail you need something to fall back on to feed yourself. Even with an education you need to have drive and work ethic to be successful, but that little piece of paper will open doors. I commend you for taking care of your employees circle c I believe that shows good business sense. I don't use my degree in my current field and make more than my wife who does but it's there if I need it.

Mule. Can't just go get one from Joe blow, invest your time looking for a good mule trainer and then talk him into selling you the mule he rides. We hog hunt and elk hunt on ours,  I've had good horses in the past but I good mule is much better IMO. A young mule will sometimes test each rider but not the older well trained ones. They also don't need a tune up session. Example: my uncles 4 mules hadn't been messed with in almost a year loaded em up and brought em elk hunting this year no problems. A horse I wouldn't do that with. Mules have a longer working life as well.

Yea my lease is MLD also we could start gun season Saturday but wait till the 3rd Saturday in Oct and it runs until end of February. I'll be bow hunting this weekend with my son. Got a couple mature ten points on trail cams we're trying for.

Deer hunting is so commercial now even the lazy ass thieves know how much good stands and feeders are worth. I've been lucky for quite a few years now but my buddy lost two stands and a game camera last year.

Been a long time since I've caught or seen a marked hog in good Ol east Texas. I dock the tail and notch the left ear on the FEW places I'm aloud to work em. Used to see and catch marked hogs regularly "back in the day". My grandpa had two marks registered with Polk county. I need to research and see if I can find out what they were.

I go at night in the summer because it's to hot in the daytime. Sometimes start at 2 or 3am hunt till 9 or 10. A good light and a couple hunting buddies is essential.

Man that's one of them red eyed devil hogs I saw on TV. Better be careful!

How many preference points does it take u to draw a mulie tag around meeker?

Yea I have had some huge mule deer within bow range between gunnison and meeker. Saw 4 bucks standing in a field outside Craig a month ago and I think 3 of em would make Boone and Crockett. Were gonna be down around unit 76 this year try and get on some good bulls
