So I loaned my partner two of my males until he gets his pups up and running.  He put them to good use today.  2 really nice boars.

Appreciate it.  I dont really have a story behind my dogs.  Just a bunch that I have been messing with for a few years.

Like everyone else, we have good days and bad days.

Take a t post 2 to 3 feet long weld the chain to it for at least 3 links. Drive that in the ground till it’s under the ground. If you don’t have a welder just drill a hole thru it and clip the chain to it and drive it in the ground on the end to hook to the dog put a swivel done

47  HOG & DOGS / GENERAL DISCUSSION / The-Most for dog tie out on: January 24, 2021, 02:48:36 pm
In the past, I used T-Post as tie out for dogs on chains.  I used them in locations where I didnt have a tree or something better to stake to.

I quit using them becuase I had a couple dogs that didnt stay at the end of their chain.  Those dogs tended to stay close to the T-Post and thus they would easily get wrapped around the post.

Does anyone have a picture of a swivel type solution that may slide over the top of a post and maybe keep the chain from getting wrapped around the t-post?

2021 has started off pretty good.

I hunted a farm in North LA again with just 4 of my dogs.

Saturday we had a great hunt.  We ran deer dogs in the morning and hunted in the afternoon.   At 1200 I turned Bee and Ann loose.  They cold trailed about a mile and ended up baying a real nice sow.  Dogs killed two more pigs after the bay.

Didn't hunt Sunday.

Monday was action packed.   We started at 0800 and had 12 hogs by 1130 with just 4 dogs.

Total for the year is 18 so far. Some pics were taken.  Video is uploading.  My phone died Monday morning.

He did pass away.  One of the best dogs I ever had came from Marty.  She was super fast and dead silent.  She was a one-dog hog baying machine.  Credit to Marty.

They are all nice. Hog hunter they are gonna be rough if they already have a hog that size down!

Lol.  I do think they are going to be rough, maybe too rough for likings.  I killed that hog earlier in the day in front of one bay dog and I brought her home to butcher.  I couldn't resist letting the pups check her out.  This was the first hog they have ever seen.

Anyone know somebody that makes Native / Western style beaded jewelry?

I have some nice teeth from boars that I would like to use to make some custom necklaces as gifts.

Nothing special.   Just some dogs I've raised.  Kept the bloodline tight with a one semi-gloss out cross and one other dog from a friend.
