Do anybody bow fish carp on lake murvaul?

Im just now gettn back in to huntin. And when i started out all my gear was gave to me and as far as d hobbles some where great some was crap..   Do u guys recomend any certain brand or maybe u have some homemade ones you would like to share?

My bluetick i use for bayin stops the pigs fast and they dont go far and hes got the bayed..... Im guna go with d lead n catch do.    Thanks to yall fellas.  Happy hunting

Mike it a mix between hard wood bottoms and pine thickets so it usally takes an min or two

I knew a man that done that but it takes a real good dog and alota time but he always said trainning a dog that good alway makes it worth it n d end    So shoot for it

I wanted to see wat some of yalls opinons on this idea..sorry if this post is kind of long lol..I have a young real rough bluetick and i have bayed hogs with him and shot them. But i want to start back catchin them alive.. I used to use 3 or 4 bay dogs then a pit for catchin but cant afford to feed that many now..The dog i have bays good and is fast to stop a hog when bayed if they try to run he will grab and stop them then back to baying hes a great dog..But as far as getn back to live catches do yall think i should get an even rougher dog that will run with mine and catch as soon as mine bays so mine will catch with him after seein d other grab kinda like monkey seemonkey do??? Or do yall think i should buy another pit and do like most folks and keep him with me untill my bluetick bays then let d pit catch?    Im open to any opinons u guys may have.. So wat do yall think??

First one do any of yall go on the angelina river around shawnee bottom, the tram, or the 59 river brigde?? do yall go in d day walking the banks and wading creeks or do u use boats and troll round?? Some other questions are is there anyone that bowfishies small lakes like lake nac and murvaul or any other that are good for bowfishing?? Using boat day or night?? Or bank walking and wading??  And the last questions is... Are the any small creeks or rivers in nac county or  that are not far from outside nacogdoches county that are good for wading or usien small boats?      If this helps any wer not looking for trophy fish or huge numbers we are just looking for places that hold good shooting of any type of gar carp drum or anything to make a fun day

Looking in to buying some hold a hawg foot snares.. Anyone have any exprience with theses if so how effective are they any reviews???

I cant use a pitbull to hunt with.. Iv heard of people useing walker hound and other types of dog to catch.. I have to walker pup and i wanted to c if anyone had any tips on how to train them to catch on sight in stead of running till they bay... Anyone with experence with this have any tips or ideas?

I know a man who claims to have done this.. Does any one think with the right dog it can be train to coon hunt in the woods but still work a hog in a bay pen competion???

Just found an answer to my question... I live in nacogdoches and not far from anglina national forest.. I just got off the phone with them and the lady said you can run hog dogs year around you just need to have proof of rabies shots for your dogs and your annual public land permit... And you have to wear hunter orange in the day time... Hope to see some of yall in the area hunting out there before long... Good luck
