NEWS AND UPDATES / TEXAS LAWS and BILLS / Re: Texas Threat of Breed Specific Legislation
|
on: January 05, 2011, 11:43:45 pm

i love pit bulls and i dont have a problem with this at all. i beleive owners of any dog should be required to keep the dog in a secure place at all times, except when not working or during supervised play/training.
i dont understand the resistance to this. if sportsmen would show that they are responsible dog owners, then just maybe the bad publicity would ease up a bit.
i love dogs of each and every breed, but too many dog owners are not fit to have a dog. I see too many neglected and unsocialized pits allowed to run loose, or are able to escape frequently due to negligence.
you all may think im crazy, but i am actually in favor of a state wide leash law.
if a dog is not hunting, training, or playing under supervision, he/she should be kept in a secure place. this not only applies to large powerful breeds, but even the neighbor's little terrier that gets into the garbage. while it's true i love dogs of responsible owners, i wouldnt mind a bit if the others were all put to sleep.
i hate dogs that run loose. and a chain is not secure enough for a bulldog. collars break. period

i have a remington 870 supermagnum with synthetic black stock. it's a 12 gauge that chambers everything from 2-3/4 to 3-1/2 inch shells. can hunt anything from doves to geese with it. it has a little superficial surface rust on it. i can send pics to a cell. i also have some steel shot that goes with it. i dont duck hunt anymore. i am in gilmer, tx.
YOU MUST TEXT ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED. I WILL NOT REVISIT THIS THREAD!!!!!! 903-841-8821
i will sell it outright or trade for an 870 wingmaster 20 gauge. prefer a full choke. the longer the barrell, the better.
i have not yet set a price. i have no idea what it's worth. text me and we'll work something out.

anyone ever heard where the two different breeds came from? difference in bloodline/breeding? ive googled my heart out before and never come up with anything. i believe there is a cur type and a hound type. i think the two have to have common blood somewhere down the line. some say not, but noone has ever produced records to disprove it.
