I try to get there as fast as possible. Most of my dogs are young, and havent totally figured out how to stop a runner. After they start baying, adrenaline takes over and makes me want to run to them anyways. the faster I get there and get it caught, the less of a chance the hog has to break or cut the dogs. my opinion!!
