Matt- I don't have any bird dogs anymore but the two guys with me take to those bird dogs like we take to hog dogs. It's fun to watch them get "birdy" and a big rooster jump up 10 yards in front of them.
Kevin- That brittany is a littermate to the one he lost at the ranch. The pointer he's holding is one BJ gave him when he lost his two. This is the first season for the Brittany and he stays in close and beats the brush good. The other two pointers were "field trial culls" and BJ has them working pretty close. They ran big a few times and busted some birds but the electricity around their neck made them think twice about doing that again.
