Sunday we had a 16 hour hunt. 10 hrs and two places later we finally struck a nice Boar hog, my Max and Stroke dogs ran him down after he broke, they shut him down in the open on top of a tank bank. Clay had been about 1000 yards away baying for about an hour by the time we got to him, all the other dogs got to him to help. Jake ran ahead of us to get some video of the dogs baying. It turned out they had about 30 in a group, sent in the CD's and caught two there, the dogs rolled out and ended up 3.3 miles from the truck strait line. The hog bayed and broke several times before making a B-Line strait for the truck. We began to pick up dogs along our route back all of which were cut up, some bad. Clay was the last dog in the race, we found him setting in the middle of a cow pasture very bloody and beaten, this doesnt happen to Clay as he is usually no closer than 15 feet most of the time. After a long hard day we ended up with three, 1 good Boar and two good sows. we will have another video out soon. I dont know why my pictures wont resize on Photobucket but I will post a few anyway.
