I have a Tejas vest and I really like it.  My next vest will be a Tejas.  Maybe I can special order it with velcro rather than buckles and add in some leg flaps.

I have a friend that has a Tejas vest on a bay dog and he went to Uncle Earl's Hog Bay, showed the Tejas folks there how a boar had cut into the side panels over the rib area.  They took the vest at no cost to him and put in kevlar panels in those areas.

I have also had good service with Southern Cross too, they actually gave me a jagdterrier vest and cut collar for buying two sets, and then took them all back and made me new ones when I did not like the fit on the originals.  I did have trouble with the new SC vests rubbing the legs raw on 3 jags and one dogo.  I soaked the vests in fabric softener a week and them made the dogs wear them in the kennels a week to work out the kinks.  I no longer use vests on jags, curs or our plotthounds, just on the catch dogs.
