Samantha, if you were closer you and your catchdog would be welcome to go.
Monkey is actually a hot nosed dog, but he hustles all the time, rarely walks anywhere and just seems to be able to find hogs about everywhere I take him. He isn't afraid to hit the thick stuff looking for a hog either.
But he is short ranged so I walk hunt him. He wouldn't suit a lot of people but he suits the way I hunt anymore and I can take him and hunt small 500-1000 acre tracts, catch hogs on them, and stay on the place (most of the time). He also has a real good handle on him so I can control him well. This is a definate plus when you hunt alone 99% of the time.
The place I have been catching hogs the past couple months is a 24,000 acre deer hunt club that runs deer dogs 7 days a week, from Nov to the end of Jan, which is the only time I can run the hogs dogs there. These hogs know what a dog is and only the fast and/or bad survive the hordes of deer dogs in the woods. I feel if I can find and bay hogs there, the places with hogs that don't know what a dog is should be easy........

Okay, easier.........
Josh, I heard on the news about "possible" snow flurries this weekend?

? Don't know if I will be hunting in that or not! I like the cool weather, but snow in Fla??
