John, your bitch looks to be in wonderfully good hunting shape to me. A little on the thin side but not showing hip or backbones. If I were to want a good litter of pups from her I would try to put about 10lb on her. The reason I say this is that the pups will draw her down fast and if she starts thin it is nearly impossible to keep ahead of this drawdown even with the best feed. A few pounds will also make her more receptive to breeding and taking. If you are not hunting her much it might be good to give this a try. USHOG is right on the money with having other bitches in the yard in heat. Ever noticed how one bitch comes into heat and the whole yard is in heat in a week or so. Hope you can figure out the puzzle and get a litter out of that fine looking bitch.    John
