i am no expert, but IMO, put the dog with the hog and see if it will try to catch. Then let the dog watch the bay dogs work the hog from the outside of the pen, let them get interested and know what is going on when the other dogs are baying. Then after you let them watch a couple times, and they act like they really want it, take them on a test run. Hobble the hog and take it to where the CD wont be able to see the hog or other dogs. Let the bay dogs go to it and start baying. After they have bayed, turn the bulldog loose and let him go to it and see what happens. I wouldnt use a hog that is too big or rough, especially if it is the dogs first time at catching. This should atleast get him to learn what a bay is and to go to it. You may have to let him practice catching a few time to let him learn how and where to catch. Running it with a buddies dog should work too, but i would let yours go just alittle bit after his, so your dog will see his go in and catch. JMO, and im pretty sure there are plenty of different ways to do it.  Wink
