i am new to the board and hog dog hunting and this is my first post but i have to say...

I grew up hunting and we shot any and every hog we saw from distance.  a few weeks back i had a great opportunity to go out with Chris, Mandi, Mike and Matt on a tie hunt.  That was the most fun i have had in a long time!  later i went on a stick hunt that was, well just not as exciting as the tie hunts.  i love tie hunting and would rather tie one or two than stick a few or shoot a dozen at distance.  i realize some land owners want it done one way and it's their call but for me the tie is the way to go (even if the yield is less).
