I'm right there with ya on not sellin em unless its easy acess to get to em. I run gritty catchy baydogs and I use cds too. Works for me. Sometimes it saves my cd a few extra runs during the hunt. I've got a dog thats just a little over a yr and he still won't bark on a hog. Hasn't started striking his own yet so we'll see how he does then. As of now he's just straight catch. So I guess I kinda fall under both categories.
