A lil too late on your request brother

I knew I would hear from you on this one Alan. Im definitely regretting not getting that pup now. I will tell you this. Put me at the top of the list the next time Hank climbs the fence!

I just figured I could find someone breeding catch dogs like this and not just the accidental crosses that most get lucky with.
I know you kept that pup long enough to know what he was going to do but you figured he would have a lot of hunt in him also. That was the deciding factor to me on that pup but I wish I would have tried it now.
I know that desire to please combined with handle can override the hunt in that cross with the right training but it has been a combination hard for me to find in a dog.
A dog with a huge desire to catch, standing 50 yards from the bay beside his handler, unleashed, and waiting on his command.
That is special in a good catch dog in my opinion.
