I would probably just use that property for trapping and not even bring any dogs there. I know in Florida hogs are considered livestock so he has a right to protect them and can shoot your dogs if he wishes, I imagine it's the same in Texas. I had a problem like that before where we had some property and a man owned a tiny piece right next to it and threatened me not to have my dogs on it and called the game warden a couple times but as long as I didn't step foot on it myself I was not at fault. So I just hunted my property at night or during the weeks I knew the man wasn't in town. There isn't a whole lot you can do in that case other than try to keep your dogs off his property. Like I said, I would just set up some hog traps and move the hogs you trap to another spot you hunt.
