Do your homework as said, registry has nothing to do with working ability if you do your homework. Both my male and female are TLGDA registered, as any pups in the future will be. Both hunt and do it well, as some on here can vouch for. Just check into any potential pup, parents, grandparents, how they hunt, how long and how far you can go back with the working line. My 20 cents.

100% agree.  My male came with TLGDA papers but I never registered him.  Paper work means little to me unless I was going to breed and need it to justify what I was charging.  There are plenty of good lacys out there but there is even more garbage....just do your home work and don't get caught up in the politcs of the lacy world.
