Last hunt I made with Richard and Bryant....my dogs had struck and bayed pretty much all the hogs. Most of the time they would be back in the ranger before we even got the hog killed.
If you could just train them to quit devouring all the hogs they catch so we could at least keep a good count of number of hogs caught, the hunts would be so much more enjoyable. It's obvious your dogs have no handle.
It's funny to me how many people go crazy when they think their dog struck a hog or bayed one. Everybody likes to have their dogs do good but at least act like it's happened before..
That's funny right there!
There's a real simple solution to all this...Hunt rangy dogs. By the time you realize on the Garmin that they're bayed and you make it there, all dogs are present and it's really anybody's guess who started the hog. (Then you can just say it was yours and nobody can argue!
