5 yrs ago I had a great Cat X Pit that I used as a traditional catch dog or RCD. Caught as hard as any straight bulldog but ran and handled like a cur dog. Its hard to find good reasonably priced bulldogs. ALot of the Cur X Bulldogs can be bought at a better price and you can get the same results. With that said, its just like any thing else... not every BMC makes a strike dog and not every Pit makes a catch dog.
I will throw in that all these Xs being sold and talked about as being the cure for your hogs running is a bit misleading IMO.
