i have a half dogo half bmc...i know it isn't pit but it's catchdog. i like running two types of dogs at the same time. i like a looser baying dog that will lay teeth if the hogs move, and i like a dog that will catch anything under 100lbs. that way i have one dog baying and another controlling a 100lbs hog. if it is over 200 they both need to be baying then i cut the dogo loose. it works for me. i don't mind a smart rough dog. don't like stupid rough dogs.
After reading this statement it occured to me that this discussion once again boils down to differences in styles. There are a few people who wouldn't run 2 different style dogs (loose, gritty) on the ground at the same time but it doesn't make doing any more wrong than a guy who wants to run a pack of loose dogs.

It boils down to the guy who is putting the pack together to undertand what it is he is wanting and to build around that from an educated point in order to bring home his bacon.
