i had a bluetick that was silent till seeing hog...UNTIL he hit 1.5yrs, then he started opening everytime he hit a hot track. the hotter the more open. he's a hound, he may grow out of it, but i bet he will grow back into it again. just they way they were wired. my bluetick also like to run hogs. if they ever bayed up he would catch, but he liked chasing hogs. that's what hounds do, run and open.
