The only ladner cur I ever owned was a gyp, she started real easy and was a smart little dog, but when she was about 14 months old she got hit pretty hard one day and after that she was tipped. She never would commit to a bay anymore, her concentration was shot so I had to get rid of her.. I am sure that this little gyp was probally the exception to the rule, the line of dogs is suppose to be real gamey and easy to train on any game...
