I do pretty much the same as everyone else has already posted.
The bottoms where we usually hunt are always alittle cooler and always has water pretty much any direction you go. I dont feed the dogs if i know im planning on making a hunt that evening or morning, and the hunts are usually alot shorter. and i always try to stop every so often to give the dogs a break and make sure they are getting in the water.
