Have any of yall been bit by a cotton mouth or known anyone who has? I was curious how those make you feel (dont want to find out anytime soon, just curious

When I was stationed at Ft. Bragg I was an instructor at the Special Forces Acadamy I was laying in a swamp with the candidates waiting for it to get dark and rolled over on a big Cotton Mouth, it bit me in the middle of the back three times, it took 4 hrs to get me to the hospital, by that time it was to late for anti-venin. The Doc told me if I was going to die I would have already died. Your question was how sick would you get? I am here to tell you for about 10-12 hrs I was more sick than I have ever been and I have had Malaria and disentary. The pain in my muscles was unbareable not to mention a nasty scar on my back that resembled a dead tree. You dont want to be bitten by a cotton mouth!!!
