what frightens u

I was just about to give a turkey story, itll sure make you jump when you are walking through some thick woods at dusk and a turkey shoots straight up 2 feet from you, and you cant see what it is till it clears the brush.

Oh, i have a good one.
Once the dogs ran through a canal onto some private property, we crossed the canal to go round them up, and I hear what sounds like a shotgun go off. The first thing going through my head is a pissed off land owner shooting our dogs. Well everyone runs towards the noise, so i follow, we end up finding the dogs on the edge of a small canal just kind of wandering around and getting a drink.
I hear somone start calling dogs in a panic-y voice, I look down into the canal a couple feet from me and see the head of a well over 10' gator. I got a real good look, and I think ive seen enough of em to judge size pretty well from the head, and I figure he was all of 12'.
Still don't know what the gunshot sound was, I was thnking it was that big gator belly flopping into the water, or hs tail hitting water, but one of the other guys said it was that gator snapping his jaws when the dogs scared him into the water...
