If one of my dogs gets hurt/killed while on loan, I understand, and that is a risk I am willing to take.
Now would I let anyone come borrow my dogs? Nope. Are there a handful of people that have in the past, and are welcome to again in the future? Yes.
Those same people are welcome to come use my trucks, trailers, tractors, horses, home, etc. If they need them, I along with my "things" are here for them.
Bingo, if you can't accept that number 2 happens, even when you are not there, don't do it. If you can accept that number 2 happens and trust the individual, have at it.
