I personally dont like to borrow other peoples dogs because Murphy's Law always applies in the woods.  I happen to borrow some Plotts and Jagds from Bud Goatcher to try out a different technique during the heat and long races.  As LUCK would have it, the female plott and some of my pups got out of my trailer by squeezing thru the railing while I was walking to a bay.  They didnt have tracking collars on while in the trailer.  It took me two days to find that Plott, and I was relieved to find her.  My pups are still out, but thats not near as important as me finding his dog.  I am going to continue to hunt them just put a tracking collar on them as soon as I take them out of the kennel.

On the other hand I do let some folks hunt my dogs, because I cant always be there these days and its not fair to the dogs to sit up and not do anything.  But I usually wont let the top Catch dog and Strike dog go without me there.
