Tri colored? I'm thinking that's why people don't want walker hounds, huh?
when I think coondawg, I'm thinking bluetick, redbone, or some mix.
What do those competition guys do with the hounds (or curs) that are good but older or good but not right for competing? Seems us "pleasure hunters" may be tickled with their cast offs.

might I ad that every good blue tick redbone ect. i ever seen was trained by a walker dog ... i have never seen a more pleasent tree dog then a treeing walker coonhound that was trained in the right hands
