mine is doing the samething and the only time it got even close to getting wet was like a month before it started acting like that...have tried the rice thng as well to no avail...put batteries in it and it worked fine for a few hrs on the hunt but eventually did the same thing...gps and compass still work and it tells me how far out the dogs are but none of the buttons work
