Tried and true method: I'm the resident dog feeder around our place. There's a tub of pig lard you can get at wal mart-it's in a white tub with green writing, it's in the mexican food section. It's 100% pure lard so obviously use it sparingly. I'd take the dog food (we feed diamond) mix it with warm water to soften it, then stir in that lard...man oh man! I actually get in trouble for keeping the ol' mans dogs too fat
