I'm glad everyone physically is okay.

I was thinking about some of you guys Saturday night.  I stayed up most of the night watching the news programs as it came ashore.

I didn't even plan a hunt Saturday morning because of the 3"-5" rain along with the "tropical storm" force winds that were predicted here in Temple/Belton.  I believe I got a total of 7 1/2 drops, along with a couple of gusts.  Earlier in the week when it was looking like Port A might be in the path, I made a quick run down and moved all the patio furniture in, secured the house and brought home my nephews boat that had been left down.  I did get to stop by and make a quick hunt with Douglas Mason on the way home so it was not a complete wasted trip!

We did have quite a few evacuee's in town for a few days.  My son's school was scheduled to have a back-to-school BBQ for the kids and families on Saturday afternoon, but the school decided to cancel and donate the food to the Mayborn Center here in town that was housing evacuee's.
