The red curs are rough and the brindle cur bays loose but all other traits are basicly the same except for color. You also said that you are hoping to get dogs that bay loose but to keep all the other desirable traits.
I would keep all the female pups and pick the ones with the loose baying trait that look and hunt right and then breed them back to the brindle male. I would then find a pup from a different dam that is sired by the brindle male and breed that pup to the 3/4 brindle pups.
