I am in no way condoning what was done to this guys dogs or fence line, but I imagine he pissed someone off. It would be interesting to hear the entire story from both sides, just to see what it takes to cause someone to commit such a heinous crime.
There are people out there who don't need much of a reason to do something like this. I live in a small country town and I remember about 15 years ago something similar to this happened to a horse. The horse wasn't killed but it was all slashed up while trapped in its stall. The horse belonged to a girl who was in the local rodeo queens contest and they figured that it was a relative of a competitor because it happend the night before the last judging. Nothing was ever proved but sad never the less.
