That's how I have always felt too.
Black, Brindle, Red, Leopard, Yella....just cur dogs to me.
As soon as someone starts talking color to me, I lose interest...whether it is a horse or a dog, color breeders have a way of ruining a good thing.
Go find me a good yellow horse, and I bet I can find ten sorrel horses that will do the same job.
Same as a double glass eye leopard dog....
