I got a 07 dura max and i like everything about it except mpg.It gets around 16 mpg empty and 14 loaded to the gills.I used to be a used car dealer {please dont hold that against me}and bought and sold alot of full size trucks.I tryed staying away from the 01-04 d-max because of problems like injector pumps and fuel related problems. When ford quit using the 7.3 powerstroke they quit buildin trucks for hard work. The 03-05 dodge w/cummins are awesome trucks but the drivetrain could not handle what that powerplant was puttin out.My brother has an 08 dodge and it is a lemon, its been in the shop for 2 months and they cant fix all the problems that thing has.The dodge dealer just took it to the chevy dealer to get it fixed.Havent really heard anyone bragg about a 07 08 dodge that had it very long.Just check out whatever truck you like,if it looks like it was abused stay away from it cause it probly was. But,you never really know till u buy it,might of been someone elses headache or it might be the best truck ever built.JMO.Good luck with whatever you get.

My brotherinlaw bought a new one and a lawyer from another state wrote him and asked if he wanted to get on the list to file a lawsuit against Dodge. He hasn't had any problems with it and it sure looks good. He has a cummins six cylinder. If they ever put that engine in a ford I would go buy another ford... Smiley

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog...
