I hear all these people talk about how big a dog is. But I always had over-sized Rottweilers 150-160 lbs and they were in shape. It is all about genes and conditioning. I like big dogs but just do not expect them to run to run a marathon. I decided to go with Dogos because I want a large catch dog. A smaller dog may get through stuff faster but when it comes to holding I prefer a bigger dog. But it all boils down to what you want and you prefer. But if it gets in and holds I like it.
