I got into Abs before I used them for hunting.   So I guess I am an AB guy before a hog hunter.  The breed has changed a lot over the past 15 years  I have been in it.  I am not a breeder just always an enthusiast that loves to hunt with them as I feel if you have a good one they are the best at getting the job done in the woods.   Unfortunately I don’t think most hunters have seen real good Abs in the woods.   And rightly so as there are not many of them.   I have had the opportunity to have dogs off of a lot of the top yards in the country and to be honest was very disappointed with most.   I think as a breed they could be great but most are not due to the bad breeding and owners who breed dogs that are real mediocre.   In ten years of hunting I have only kept two bulldogs that I felt would get the job done no matter what.  Got rid of all the rest due to factors that to me did not represent what these dogs should be.   I think the Dogo is experiencing some of the same problems as a breed.  Folks breeding dogs for money, looks over function,  breeding mediocre dogs to mediocre dogs.   Just my thoughts on the AB.

As to your dog you got, I would like to see pics of a 130 pound girl.  If she works for you then that is all you can ask cause you will be feeding her.  And I would guess at 130 pounds that will be lots of feed. lol
